Our World English provides a co-educational environment for students, which means its open for both girls and boys. This is very beneficial for both genders for many reasons. Indeed, there are benefits for both co-ed and single-sex learning environments, and the decision on which type of summer school is better should be determined on a case by case basis. Parents and their children should come to a conclusion together after considering all of the pros and cons of each type of school.

In adult life, men and women co-operate and interact on a daily basis, both at work and in their personal lives. Students who attend a co-educational school are introduced to this type of lifestyle from a young age, allowing them to understand the opposite sex to a greater degree and therefore understand how to communicate with them. This prepares them for their future in many ways, both in their higher education and their future career.

Co-education can work wonders for a child’s self-esteem and social skills; they learn to challenge sexism and respect all of their peers, no matter what their gender. By listening to the views of different types of people with different cultural backgrounds, both male and female, allows our students to break down gender and cultural stereotypes that are still so apparent in today’s world. This is particularly great for students who attend a single-sex school during term time, and therefore don’t normally get much experience with the opposite sex.
